Full-day fishing charters generally depart early, with around 6:00 am a typical starting time. The final departure time may change depending on weather, sea conditions, tides, the target species and the planned fishing area. We’ll confirm the meeting and departure time with you before your charter.

Group size depends on the type of charter and the vessel’s applicable operating and survey requirements. Tell us how many people are in your group when enquiring and we’ll confirm the suitable charter options and permitted passenger numbers for your trip.

Yes. We can tailor private charters to suit your group, target species and preferred style of fishing. Contact Bluewater Collective Charters to discuss what you have in mind and we’ll quote the trip based on your requirements.

Bring sun protection, a hat, sunglasses, suitable clothing for changing offshore conditions, non-slip footwear, food and drinks for the day, and any personal medication you may need. A waterproof jacket is recommended even when the forecast looks good. We’ll let you know before the trip if anything specific is required.

Yes. Outlaw has a toilet onboard for passenger use during your charter.

Yes. Suitable rods, reels, tackle and required safety equipment are supplied for the planned charter unless we tell you otherwise before the trip. You’re welcome to ask us if you’d like to bring your own favourite outfit.

Departure points vary with the target species, weather and planned fishing area. Common departure locations include Wirrina Cove Marina and the Bluff Boat Ramp at Victor Harbor, with other South Australian locations used when suitable. Your exact meeting point will be confirmed before the charter.

No. Beginners are welcome. We’ll explain the gear, techniques and safety requirements on the day, and help you throughout the charter. Experienced anglers are equally welcome and we can tailor the fishing style to the group where practical.

Children may be able to join by prior arrangement. Suitability depends on the child’s age, the type of charter, forecast conditions and the planned fishing area. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, and the skipper has the final decision on whether a trip is suitable.

Where legally permitted, retained catch is handled in accordance with current fisheries rules, including size, possession and bag limits. The skipper’s directions apply to all catch handling and retention. Some fish may need to be released regardless of preference.

Yes. We offer private sightseeing cruises, coastal trips and transfers by arrangement. Contact us to discuss your preferred route, departure point and group size. All trips are subject to weather and availability.
